Description
Now Milk Thistle is a titrated nutritional supplement with the milk thistle herb. The main active ingredient of thistle is Silymarin, it is the active ingredient from the fruit of Silybummarianum.
Silymarin consists of three subunits, Silybin, Silidanin, and Silicristin, belonging to the flavonolignans, the most important of which seems to be Silybin.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Committee for Herbal Medicines (HMPC) have approved the use of thistle as a traditional herbal remedy for the symptomatic relief of indigestion, bloating and indigestion of the liver.
