Description
Vitabiotics Wellman Prostace is a dietary supplement that contains a combination of ingredients such as vitamins, minerals and the unique Prostene complex with lycopene, zinc, Saw Palmetto extracts, soy and pumpkin seeds, for good prostate health and function.
Specifically, Saw Palmetto inhibits the production of dihydrotestosterone which causes prostate swelling, and thus helps reduce swollen prostate (benign hyperplasia) and reduce its symptoms such as frequent, difficult urination, etc.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the HMPC have approved the use of saw palmetto as a traditional herbal remedy to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia such as difficulty urinating or frequent urination.
In addition, zinc helps maintain normal blood testosterone levels and plays an important role in the development and normal functioning of the prostate. The above are official health claims by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
