Description
Now Alpha Lipoic Acid is a dietary supplement of alpha lipoic acid (ALA), also known as thioctic acid. It is a substance that structurally resembles a vitamin and which acts as an antioxidant while also participating in energy production.
Alpha lipoic acid is found in small amounts in foods such as liver, spinach and broccoli. Enhances the antioxidant effect of other vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin E, coenzyme Q10 and glutathione.
Studies have shown that it can help lower blood glucose levels and improve insulin resistance. At the same time, it seems to reduce the symptoms of diabetes, such as diabetic neuropathy.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
