Terra Nova Digestive Enzyme Complex is a combination of 11 essential digestive enzymes that promote the proper functioning of the digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats by the body. In addition, it contains the mixture of herbs Magnifood, with fennel, artichoke, ginger, cardamom, which stimulates the functions of the liver and bile and maintains the balance of the digestive flora.
In particular, it contains protease that breaks down proteins, cellulose that breaks down cellulose, amylase that breaks down carbohydrates and food glycogen into simple sugars, lipase that breaks down fats into fatty acids, lactase (β-galactosidase), which is essential for digestion of lactose and maltase which catalyzes the hydrolysis of the disaccharide maltose to glucose.
