Orthomol Immun is a food for special medical purposes. It is suitable for the dietary management of nutrition-related immune deficiencies (e.g. recurrent respiratory infections). Orthomol Immun contains important micronutrients for the immune system. The nutritional characteristics of vitamin C play a key role in the immune defences. For instance, some immunocompetent cells contain a vitamin C concentration that is about 10-100 times higher than the plasma levels.

In the interests of combatting doping, Orthomol Immun is included on the Kölner Liste® (Cologne List®) to achieve greater transparency and safety.

Orthomol Immun contains important micronutrients for the immune system.

• Vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, selenium, copper, folic acid, vitamin A, vitamin B₆ and vitamin B₁₂ contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
